Our Story

We have had the good fortune to render our services to prominent kathakars such as Param Pujya Krushankar Dada, Param Pujya Rameshbhai Oza, (Bhai shree), Pujay Pad Indirabetiji, Param Pujya Kankeshwari Deviji, Param Pujya Bhupendrabhai Pandya, Param Pujya Mrudulkrushnaji Maharaj, Param Pujya Shree Gauravkrishnaji Maharaj, Param Pujya and Radhakrushna Maharaj. The first historic event of Bhatt Sound was held in the year 1988, where Param Pujya Dongre Maharaj Shri performed his Katha. This was in Daulatbaug at Ajmer, Rajasthan. A few back to back events had strained his voice, so he found it difficult to perform. But this did not deter him. He was so much in absolute control of his voice that he did not let the strain show. To the audience, Param Pujya Dongre Maharaj shri’s voice came across as magnificent as ever and held everybody spell bound. The katha became a resounding success and received an overwhelming response from the audience.

Later Bhatt Sound started lending sound support at all his events. As time wore on, Bhatt Sound started acquiring the latest sound technology equipment and instrument from across the world to add to its repository. We consider ourselves fortunate that before he departed for his heavenly abode, we had the blessings of Param Pujya Dongre Maharaj shri and were asked to conduct all his katha events.

Later we started managing sound events for many prominent kathakar, but none as gifted as Param Pujya Dongre Maharaj shri.. It was his divine inspiration that set us on this course and helped us in the vocation that sustains us now- not just as sound technicians for kathakar, but as fulfilled human beings who are able to revive interest in one of the purest musical formats that originated in this part of the world.

These days, katha has been started imbibing musical elements from ‘classical sangeet’ and sugam sangeet. We quickly adapted to this trend by investigating better sound system. We technically analyzed new sound system and experimented with the world’s top brands to create the perfect harmony at each event. Our team members have helped us in our endeavor fully and to our clients’ complete satisfaction.

In the interim, we have also organized events such as Bhajans, Saurashtra’s Lok sangeet, as well as Dairo with lots of success. However we still specialize in sound management for kathas. Sound management and audio setting are two areas were we have acquired complete mastery

In order to maintain the superior quality of our work, we do not accept more than two events at a time. We boast of a strong set of clientele who call upon us to support all their events.

We need to keep in mind the strong point of the kathakar, the emotions that we want to convey to create the perfect environment. We work in unison with the kathakars and helps them deliver their vocal best. Our passion for sound makes us work in tandem with the kathakar so that he can give the best performance of his life.
